Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis County is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses. The role supports a team of patients, assists with ADLs, takes vital signs, and contributes to safe, family-centered care in a healing environment.

The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, day shift (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.), with benefits eligibility and holiday/weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant certification required.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and performs vital signs.
• Collects clinical data and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Documents patient care activities using correct medical terminology.
• Acts as a 1:1 patient safety sitter as necessary.
