Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center is hiring certified nursing assistants to provide basic patient care under the supervision of licensed staff. Duties include ADLs, vital signs, feeding, and safety monitoring in Adult, Medical/Surgical, Gerontology, and Telemetry units.

Earn from $18.89 per hour with competitive benefits and opportunities for training. Flexible scheduling includes day shifts and every-other weekend coverage as described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience in last five years is preferred
• Completion of Computer experience requirement is required
• C.N.A. course completion or in progress within 4 months of hire

Responsabilités

• Answer call lights promptly and relay requests to staff
• Perform skin assessments and report abnormal findings
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Keep patient rooms clean and change linens as needed
• Collect and label specimens
• Transport messages, documents and specimens
• Assist feeding patients unable to feed themselves
• Monitor intake/output and vitals, report changes
• Assist patients with walking and transfers
• Operate nursing station equipment and chart in medical records
