Great River Health Systems is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician in West Burlington, IA. The role provides basic patient care under a licensed nurse, handling telemetry units and various populations in a hospital setting.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor patient conditions, and document in medical records while maintaining safety protocols and infection prevention practices. CNA course completion within four months is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of C.N.A. course (or complete within four months of hire date)
• Computer experience required
• Health care experience within the last five years preferred

Responsabilités

• Answer patients' call lights promptly and fulfill requests.
• Perform ADLs and assist with daily living activities.
• Collect and label specimens (urine, sputum, etc.) and transport them as needed.
• Turn and reposition patients to prevent pressure ulcers and ensure safety.
