Freeman Health System is seeking a Full Time Unit Secretary/Patient Care Assistant to support nursing staff and coordinate clerical tasks on the unit. You’ll serve as the communication hub and collaborate with hospital departments, physicians and patients.

Preferred candidates have PCA/CNA training or are enrolled in an RN program with nursing fundamentals completed. Freeman offers a comprehensive benefits package and career opportunities for eligible staff.

Qualificações

• Completion of clerical or medical terminology course.
• PCA or CNA course completion certificate.
• RN fundamentals curriculum completed.

Responsabilidades

• May function in patient care assistant and/or unit secretary role to support nursing staff.
• Coordinates clerical activities for the unit in coordination with departments and physicians.
• Act as the focal point of communication on the nursing unit.
