Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Tech for the Cardiac Telemetry Unit. Shifts are 7a–7p with weekends and holidays required. A $1,250 sign-on bonus is available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience caring for patients in a hospital setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assistance with bathing, feeding, and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with licensed nursing staff to promote healing and wellness.
• Support patients from birth through the lifecycle in a cardiac telemetry unit.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent
• Previous experience caring for patients in a hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Certification must be from the American Heart Ation or the American Red Cross
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.
