• Suggest and support changes within the department and participate in quality initiatives.
• Routinely perform nursing assistant responsibilities including ADLs, vital signs, I&O, telemetry-related tasks.
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintain professional communication with other departments.
• Seek feedback, plan priorities with the unit director, and engage in self-improvement.
• Communicate clearly with the health care team and support patient safety and relations.
• Provide patient care and assist with procedures and activities of daily living.
• Instruct patients and families under RN supervision; monitor and remove restraints per protocol.
• Adhere to policies, safety standards, and complete clerical documentation as needed.
• Maintain competency in advanced skills such as phlebotomy, peripheral IV removal, 12-lead EKG.
