UPMC Chautauqua is hiring a full-time Patient Care Technician for the ICU/Step Down unit. The role involves a rotating schedule with day/night shifts, weekends every other, and rotating holidays.

Responsibilities include ADLs, vitals, telemetry monitoring, and collaboration with RNs. The position offers growth, tuition support, PTO, and comprehensive health benefits. Salary and title are based on experience.

Competenze

• Experience assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care.
• Ability to monitor vital signs and report changes to RN.
• Familiarity with patient transport and safety procedures.

Mansioni

• Assists with ADLs, transfers, and daily patient care tasks.
• Performs nursing assistant responsibilities including bathing, feeding, and mobility.
• Documents care provided and reports changes to the RN and unit leadership.
