Millennium Physician Group in Naples, FL is seeking a friendly Patient Services Representative (Front Desk) to join our Pulmonary practice. This role oversees patient check-in, scheduling, insurance verification, and upfront billing tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a medical office setting, strong customer service skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of medical office, healthcare, or patient-facing experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using computer systems and EMR/EHR systems.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients upon arrival.
• Schedule patient appointments and answer incoming phone calls.
• Verify insurance information and update patient records.
• Collect copays and outstanding balances.
• Process referrals, appointment recalls, and medical records requests.
• Assist patients with questions and provide excellent customer service.
• Scan, fax, and maintain patient documentation.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Assist the Practice Manager with administrative tasks as needed.
• Support office operations and contribute to a positive team environment.

Position Summary

This position will occasionally float to our secondary Naples location: 400 8th Street North, Naples, FL 34102

Team members rotate coverage with other front office staff as needed.

Compensation Range: $18.00 to $27.00

The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
