Fast Pace Health is seeking a Patient Care Specialist to deliver administrative support and exceptional patient service. You will handle patient registration, insurance verification, and front-office tasks under clinical supervision, while maintaining a welcoming, compliant, and efficient clinic environment.

The role requires 1 year in a medical office, CPR certification, and proficiency with MS Office tools. On-site work with a focus on teamwork and accuracy in patient data handling.

Qualifications

• 1 year of medical office experience with basic terminology and insurance knowledge preferred.
• CPR certification required within 7 days of hire.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic PC skills including typing and using a mouse.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and discharge patients with a high level of customer service.
• Input patient demographics and financial information at registration.
• Verify and update patient insurance information at registration.
• Explain and collect co-pays, deductibles, and self-pay amounts.
• Answer phones with patient-centered, courteous service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize the reception area.
