Sentara Neurology Specialists in Norfolk, VA is hiring a full-time Patient Care Specialist. The role provides non-clinical support in a physician's office, handling phones, scheduling, and patient inquiries to ensure an excellent patient experience.

Hours are Monday–Friday 8:00AM–4:30PM with potential schedule variation. HS Diploma required; 3 years of customer service and 1 year of relevant health plan/medical data experience are expected. Sentara offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma is required.
• Associate degree may substitute for required experience.
• 3 years of Customer Service experience required.
• At least 1 year with Health Insurance Plans, Medical Records Data, Medical Terminology, Registration, Scheduling, or Third Party Payers.
