Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; completion of an approved medical assistant training program.
• Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA) with proof of current membership.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work with medical software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams by taking and recording vital signs and chief complaints.
• Assist providers with exams and minor procedures; maintain patient flow.
• Coordinate care including referrals, authorizations, and scheduling; communicate results to patients.
