Job summary

i-Health is seeking a Clinical Care Coordinator to support patient care and administrative tasks across clinics. You will manage exam rooms, collect histories, and ensure smooth clinical flow in a multi-site setting.

Responsibilities include EHR documentation, order entry under provider supervision, specimen processing, and scheduling. A CMA/CNA/AT-C background plus strong customer service are preferred. Equal opportunity employer with solid benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMA/AT-C/CNA or equivalent experience preferred.
• Understanding of medical terminology strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and treatment assessments preferred.
• Administrative or medical office experience preferred.
• Transcription experience required, where applicable.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, stock, and clean exam room.
• Room patients, obtain medical history and prepare for exam.
• Maintain an efficient, organized clinical flow.
• Assist with documentation of patient data into the EHR system.
• Prep for injections, change dressings, and apply durable medical equipment.
• Application and removal of casts and splints under provider direction.
• Ensure coding requirements are followed during entry of patient information.
• Provide patient educational materials.
• Assist with collection and processing of specimens.
• Act as prescribing delegate to enter medical orders under provider supervision.
• Assist Providers in procedure room with injections and minor procedures.
• Assist with medical supply inventory and ordering.
• Screen patient calls and document messages in the chart.
• Coordinate communication between providers and patients.
• Schedule patient appointments, surgeries, and diagnostic tests.
• Obtain referral/authorization per insurance guidelines.
• Provide follow up to patient inquiries.
• Coordinate and complete patient paperwork/forms
• Manage EMR tasks and on-call consults.
• Able to support multiple specialties.
