Elite Dental Partners in Glen Ellyn, IL is seeking a Patient Coordinator who warmly greets patients, collects and verifies information, and maintains an efficient daily schedule. You will explain insurance benefits, collect payments, balance deposits, and support the office with a welcoming, organized environment.

Dentrix proficiency and MS Office experience are strongly preferred; a high school diploma is required with at least two years in healthcare or customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; business/healthcare education preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in dental/medical or customer service.
• Knowledge of dental insurance and benefits preferred.
• Excellent communication with team and patients.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families and make them feel welcome.
• Gather patient information, create files, and verify insurance eligibility.
• Maintain a productive schedule and schedule future appointments.
• Confirm appointments and update the schedule as needed.
• Explain insurance and financial arrangements to patients.
• Collect and post payments from patients and insurers; balance deposits.
