Job summary

Upstream Rehabilitation, a brand partner, seeks a Patient Care Coordinator I to support clinic growth through efficient patient intake and practice management. You will collaborate with the Clinic Director to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming patient experience.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and attention to detail as you schedule visits, verify insurance, collect payments, and maintain front office organization within standard business hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to multitask, organizational detail, ability to meet deadlines, work with little to no supervision.
• As a member of a team, must possess efficient time management and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect all money due at the time of service.
• Convert referrals into evaluations.
• Schedule patient visits.
• Create an inviting clinic atmosphere, make welcome calls, monitor arrival rate.
• Manage schedule efficiently.
• Manage document routing.
• Manage personal overtime.
• Manage non‑clinical documentation.
• Manage deposits.
• Manage caseload, D/C candidate, progress note, and insurance reporting.
• Monitor clinic inventory.
• Attend required training with Territory Field Trainers and complete quarterly compliance training.
