Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in medical reception, patient care coordinator, or healthcare administrative role.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience in a fast-paced medical office or practice.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Check patients in and out for appointments.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
• Schedule new patient consultations, follow-up appointments, and provider transfers.
• Coordinate provider schedules and maximize appointment availability.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Collect copays and other patient payments in accordance with office procedures.
• Assist patients with completing intake paperwork and required documentation.
• Maintain accurate patient information within the EMR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
