• Associates degree may substitute for one year experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure scheduling, pre-auth, and financial processes for procedures.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations.
• Prepare pre-payment estimates and collect payments.
• Provide financial counseling and establish payment plans.
• Monitor surgical calendars and optimize block time.
• Communicate with physician, scheduling staff, patients, and payers.
• Float to cover clerical staff as needed.
