Job summary

UF Health Gainesville is seeking a patient financial services coordinator to schedule appointments, collect co-pays and other payments, review balances, and ensure accurate entry of charges in line with UF Health policies. You will greet patients professionally and maintain a patient-friendly point of entry and exit.

The role may require floating to other practices or flex time to cover staffing needs, supporting a seamless patient experience across UF Health offices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in financial services, business operations, physician office settings, or customer service required.
• Two years of business, financial, or physician practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and review balances.
• Collect co-payments, pre-payments, and other payments; enter charges promptly and accurately.
• Process referrals and maintain a comfortable patient experience; may float to other practices as needed.
