Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a Patient Coordinator to deliver outstanding care to patients and physicians, supporting the Physician Group and Clinical Staff with patient flow across Georgia Urology locations.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, checking in/out, maintaining confidentiality, updating data, coordinating records and appointments, verifying insurance and collecting payments, and ensuring HIPAA/OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; some college preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to interact with team members in a fast-paced environment with professionalism.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with courtesy and respect.
• Check in/out patients and manage confidentiality.
• Update and maintain patient data integrity.
• Request and follow up on patient records from referring offices.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Verify insurance information and collect payments (co-pays, deductibles, etc.).
• Scan patient data into NextGen EMR.
• Answer calls and confirm scheduled appointments.
• Maintain HIPAA and OSHA knowledge.
• Support patient flow across Georgia Urology locations.
