Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proactive, detail-oriented with strong communication.

• Comfort with EMR and practice management systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and act as primary contact with a welcoming demeanor.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and manage emails professionally.
• Schedule appointments and optimize provider calendars.
• Send confirmations and reminders to reduce no-shows.
• Verify insurance and enter data in EMR accurately.
• Explain coverage and patient financial responsibilities.
• Prepare patient charts and documentation before visits.
• Handle charges, co-pays, and payments in EMR; balance allocations.
• Run reports to ensure charges are billed and up to date.
• Monitor daily flow and adjust schedules to reduce bottlenecks.
• Communicate delays and next steps to patients clearly.
• Coordinate with clinical/optical teams for smooth visits.
• Support recall and reactivation outreach for appointments.
• Maintain an organized, clean front office; perform other duties.
