Job summary

ANTHC is seeking an Assistant Case Manager II/III to support case management by scheduling, coordinating patient referrals, and maintaining records. The role involves clerical duties, coordinating with nursing staff, and ensuring accurate charting and follow-up within the department.

Under supervision, you will assist with referrals, travel and housing arrangements, and scheduling diagnostic studies while maintaining high-quality patient care coordination in Alaska's large healthcare system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of case management experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling, reception, and records maintenance.
• Coordinate patient referrals and follow-up after provider visits.
• Assist nursing staff with admissions, orders, and forms.
• Maintain patient charts and ensure chart completion before transfer.
• Schedule and coordinate tests, visits, and travel arrangements.
• Assist in maintaining Cerner and field schedules and department clerical duties.
