Job summary

Comprehensive EyeCare Partners is seeking an entry‑level Customer Service Representative in Henderson, NV to efficiently confirm, cancel and reschedule medical appointments while delivering exceptional service.

You will handle calls, verify demographics, provide appointment instructions, document interactions in the EMR, and maintain HIPAA compliance. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• One year customer service experience in call center, retail, or medical office.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Outstanding customer service aptitude.
• Patient-centered approach delivering exceptional patient care.
• Proficiency in Internet, Intranet resources and MS Outlook.
• Typing speed of 35 WPM.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from patients and healthcare providers professionally and courteously.
• Reschedule and cancel medical appointments accurately using scheduling software.
• Verify patient demographics information for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide patients with appointment preparation details, location, and special instructions.
• Document all patient interactions and appointment details in the EMR system.
• Follow up with patients to confirm appointments and remind them of visits.
• Collaborate with call center team to address inquiries and resolve scheduling issues.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Assist in other administrative tasks and projects as directed by supervisor.
