Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answers phone calls and schedules patient care activities; directs questions to appropriate staff.
• Manages daily patient and physician scheduling and optimizes room utilization.
• Obtains and updates patient information per policy and reimbursement rules.
• Verifies information and handles referrals and pre-certifications as needed.
• Types, mails, and faxes patient correspondence.
