Job summary

MD Esthetics in Wilkes-Barre is seeking a caring and team-focused patient care coordinator to service our patients and support our providers. If you are passionate about helping others, work well in a fast-paced environment and have exceptional attention to detail, this job is for you!

You will greet patients, collect demographics, manage EMR and billing, answer phones, assist with patient flow, upsell services, and help the team meet monthly goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college diploma or esthetician license is a plus.
• Previous medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery office experience preferred.
• Previous sales experience preferred; computer-savvy required for EMR and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients in a positive, helpful manner and assist the team to reach goals.
• Gather demographic information to build/update patient profiles in EMR.
• Generate invoices and collect payments according to procedures.
• Navigate EMR and Microsoft Office; provide necessary forms to patients.
• Answer calls, record messages, and deliver messages to coworkers.
• Assist clinic staff with patient triage to maintain flow.
• Educate patients about servicios, treatments, and products offered.
• Sell services and products to meet monthly targets.
