Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, EMT or Paramedic program.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience as MA/PCT/EMT/Paramedic.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Experience with geriatric patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Measures and records patient vital signs and medical history.
• Communicates patient needs to PCP and clinical staff.
• Prepares patients for exams and assists with procedures.
• Observes patient conditions and reports changes to the physician.
• Maintains supplies and documents procedures accurately.
• Administers medications under supervision and handles basic first aid.
• Handles calls, prescription requests, and messages per protocol.
• Provides health coaching to support healthy lifestyle choices.
