Job summary

ChenMed is seeking a Care Promoter 1 in Tampa, FL to support the physician-led Care Team. The role includes administrative tasks and limited clinical duties under physician supervision to ensure smooth center operations and quality patient care.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, Medical Assistant training, and 1+ year of experience; BLS within 90 days is required. Local travel up to 10% may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training.
• At least 1 year of work experience as Medical Assistant/Patient Care Tech or similar.
• EMR experience preferred; BLS certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vital signs and medical history.
• Communicate patient needs to PCP/clinician and other staff.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist physicians during exams.
• Administer medications under physician supervision and perform basic first aid.
