Job summary

ChenMed is seeking a Care Promoter 1 to support our physician-led teams in Florida. This unlicensed role blends administrative and clinical tasks to keep centers running smoothly. You will assist with exams, vitals, basic lab work, and medication support under physician supervision.

Strong communication, empathy for patients, and teamwork are essential as you interact with doctors, nurses, and front-desk staff. Expect 5–10% travel across centers in the region.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and empathy towards our patients.
• Ability to collaborate with doctors, nurses, front desk staff and leaders.
• Mindset focused on solving problems for patients and achieving team goals.

Responsibilities

• Measures and records vital signs; records patient interview, history, and chief complaint.
• Prepares patients for examinations and assists physician with exams; explains instructions.
• Phlebotomy and collection of lab specimens; performs basic waived lab tests.
• Prepares and administers medications under physician supervision; changes dressings and applies bandages.
• Maintains supplies and sterilizes instruments; documents accurately.
• Handles patient phone messages and relays information to the physician.
• Calls in prescriptions to the pharmacy with ChenMed Rx system as directed.
