Zusammenfassung

ChenMed in Florida is hiring a Care Promoter 1 to support physician-led primary care centers. This role blends administrative and clinical tasks under direct physician supervision to keep our centers running smoothly.

You will measure vital signs, prepare patients for exams, assist with procedures, communicate patient needs to clinicians, and help with medication processes and health coaching. A HS diploma and relevant training plus BLS are required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant, PCT, EMT or Paramedic program.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Experience with geriatric patients is a plus.
• EMR experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Measure and record patient vital signs and histories.
• Communicate patient needs to PCP and clinicians.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist with procedures.
• Observe patients and report changes to physicians.
• Perform non-critical medical tasks and collect lab specimens.
• Prepare and administer medications under supervision.
• Maintain supplies, equipment and safety standards.
• Process patient calls and relay information to the physician.
• Call in prescriptions using ChenMed Rx system.
• Provide health coaching and follow up weekly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
