Job summary

Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is hiring a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) at the 70 Francis Street location. The role provides patient assistance with daily living activities, vital signs, and patient comfort under licensed supervision.

A $750 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible new hires. Minimum education is a high school diploma or equivalent, with preference for BLS, CMA, or Nursing Assistant certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.
• CMA or Nursing Assistant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs, weights/heights, intakes and outputs with accuracy.
• Complete documentation in the medical record.
• Interact with patients and families effectively.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, hygiene and feeding as needed.
• Help turn/reposition patients and transfer between bed and wheelchair.
