Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Boston is seeking a part-time Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for Ellison 12 Adult Medical Unit. This role supports daily living activities and vital signs under licensed staff, with day and night shifts on weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Licenses: BLS, CMA or NA/PCT certifications.
• Experience in patient care/elder care 0-1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living and vital signs documentation.
• Transports and assists with ambulation; 1:1 patient observation for safety.
• Performs tidying, stocking, and cleaning of patient rooms as needed.
• Completes documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Communicates with nursing staff promptly regarding patient care and condition.
• Participates in orientation of new PCA team members.
