Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in the Puget Sound region is seeking an Unit Coordinator to serve as a vital caregiver and central hub for patient care processes from newborn to geriatric, within a designated time frame. You will directly contribute to safe, therapeutic patient care while acting as the primary receptionist and secretary for the unit.

Each day you will support safe patient care through multidisciplinary coordination, managing information flow and assisting healthcare team

Responsabilidades

• Provides patient personal care/hygiene and comfort as needed.
• Assists with admissions, discharges and transfers and coordinates supplies.
• Maintains unit environment, rounds for safety, and documents activities.
• Acts as primary receptionist and secretary for the unit and information flow.
• Supports nursing staff and coordinates patient care across age groups.
• Ensures safety protocols and infection prevention in daily operations.
