Job summary

You will perform patient care tasks, assist providers, manage check-in/out, and coordinate communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus MA training/certification.
• Minimum 1 year of overall experience in healthcare.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding.

Responsibilities

• Develop clinical expertise in assigned area.
• Record keeping, protocol compliance, safety and infection prevention.
• Perform patient care tasks: vitals, rooming, labs, med reconciliation.
• Clinic administration: check-in/out, vaccine administration, PO testing.
• Clinic maintenance: stocking, ordering medications and supplies.
• Coordinate communication between provider, patient and staff.
