Job summary

Responsibilities include developing clinical expertise, ensuring safety and protocol compliance, conducting patient care duties, clinic administration, and effective communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and one of the following certifications/transcripts.
• Certification as medical assistant through a Medical Board of California-approved organization.
• Experience in healthcare settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop clinical expertise in assigned areas.
• Complete disability paperwork, logs, protocols, and infection prevention tasks.
• Provide patient care including vital signs, rooming, drawing labs, and medication reconciliation.
• Support clinic operations: check-in/out, vaccine administration, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection.
• Maintain clinic readiness: stocking, supply ordering, and timely task completion.
• Coordinate communications between provider, patient, and staff.
