Job summary

Upperline Health is seeking a motivated Patient Care Coordinator to support physicians in delivering clinic-based care. This role emphasizes front desk reception, patient greeting, check-in, and timely appointment prep in our Fort Oglethorpe, GA clinic.

You will manage scheduling, patient records, payments, and EMR data entry while protecting patient confidentiality and supporting a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Front-office experience in healthcare or similar settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic, patient-focused demeanor in a fast-paced team.
• Experience with EMR systems, preferably Athenahealth.

Responsibilities

• Front desk duties: greet patients, answer phones, check-in and organize entrance area.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and EMR documentation.
• Collect payments and manage basic office supplies.
• Protect patient confidentiality and support team duties as needed.
