Patient Care Navigator (Fox Chase Cancer Center) - (240339)

The Patient Care Navigator functions to provide access to quality care for patients with cancer. The Patient Care Navigator provides guidance to patients related to scheduling appointments, removing access related barriers including insurance and transportation, and answering questions related to practical and social challenges. The Patient Care Navigator educates patients on the multidisciplinary nature of cancer treatment, the roles of team members and enhances communication between the patient and the care team as appropriate. This role includes staying current with organizational resources and available community resources for the cancer patient.

Education
  1. High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  2. Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
  1. 3 Years experience in a healthcare setting, customer service or service oriented field. (Preferred)
