Job Description - ORTHOPEDIC EXTENDER NAVIGATOR (FT; 40hrs/wk) - Temple Faculty Physicians (250874)
Provides patient access and care as a navigator to triage clinical questions and concerns. This includes serving as a liaison between patients, providers, and other clinical staff, helping patients navigate their plan of care/treatments. Assists physicians, other athletic trainers, orthopedic surgeons, APPs, and supportive staff with patient care in the Orthopedic Surgery outpatient offices and clinics. Follows patient from arrival to departure. Ensures patient and physician needs are met to support patient experience. Prepares charts for visits, testing approvals. Assists in procedure/surgery scheduling, contributes to clinical regulatory readiness, inventory/stocking, patient phone call responses, and other duties as assigned including those of subordinate positions.
