Job summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking a PCC II to support day-to-day clinic operations and develop the skills to progress within our care delivery team. You will learn Epic workflows and collaborate with GI and Liver specialists to ensure smooth patient care.

As a foundational level PCC II, you will apply policies and procedures to complete moderate tasks, using judgment within guidelines while contributing to a multidisciplinary team focused on safety and patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and one of the following: MA program certificate, MA training by a licensed physician or podiatrist, or CA Medical Assistant certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop clinical expertise in assigned areas to support care delivery.
• Complete disability paperwork, maintain logs, follow protocols, ensure safety and infection prevention.
• Perform patient care tasks: vitals, weight/height, rooming, labs, med reconciliation assistance, EKG and related tasks.
• Handle clinic operations: check-in/out, virtual rooming, vaccine administration, point-of-care testing, specimen collection.
• Manage weekly clinic prep, stocking, ordering, and timely completion of tasks.
• Coordinate communications: answer patient calls, process refills, manage CRM/In-Basket, liaise with providers and staff.
