Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 3 years clerical medical support experience.
• Experience with medical records, admissions, and patient registration.
• Familiarity with confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and handle reception duties.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with clinics and outside facilities.
• Handle medical records, insurance verification, and authorizations.
• Maintain time and attendance records for the unit staff.
• Assist with data entry and patient registration while ensuring confidentiality.
