Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of work experience in medical/health field or 1 year of study in medical/health field.
• Must complete the medical center training in Order Entry; background check and FBI fingerprint check required.
• May require valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood specimens from inpatient and outpatient clients.
• Perform phlebotomy and patient transport duties.
• Handle order entry from provider test orders.
• Maintain proper specimen labeling and transport to lab.
• Answer phones and route to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain clean, safe department and restock supplies.
