Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Graduation from an approved medical assistant training program.
• A minimum of three years’ experience as a Medical Assistant in a health care setting.
• CPR and AED certification through AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Aufgaben

• Prepare for patient appointments by updating records.
• Record vital signs and patient information in the EHR.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during visits.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Coordinate patient discharge instructions and follow-up as needed.
• Assist with outreach, referrals, and questions about pharmacy or medications.
