Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an approved medical assistant program.
• CPR/AED certification per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card for behavioral health locations.
• Good communication and math skills; proficient with basic computer tasks.

Responsabilités

• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during visits.
• Record patient information in the electronic health record.
• Take vital signs and document accurately.
• Collect specimens and assist with procedures as directed.
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions.
• Coordinate referrals and follow up on tests and results.
• Support outreach, transportation coordination, and chart reviews.
