Job summary

Health First is seeking a Medical Assistant Certified to deliver patient-centered care across intake, tests, and treatments within the clinic. You will support providers, perform point-of-care testing, document results, and help manage patient flow and safety protocols.

The role requires CMA or RMA certification, BLS, familiarity with EMR systems, and strong customer service skills to assist multiple providers while maintaining accurate records and compassionate patient interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a Technical Medical Assisting Diploma.
• CMA or RMA certification from a recognized body.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs point-of-care testing such as urine dipstick and blood glucose.
• Conducts vital signs and collects medical, surgical, and social histories.
• Assists in medication administration with 6 Rights and proper documentation.
• Maintains supplies and coordinates equipment and inventory with site manager.
• Documents results and communicates abnormal findings to providers.
• Ensures adherence to OSHA and HIPAA policies and patient safety.
