Job summary

Clearway Pain is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care, enter intake data and provider orders into the EMR, and support the clinical team. You will collect patient information, take vitals, prepare exam rooms, and help maintain a sanitary, organized clinical environment.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to multitask under pressure, with a focus on patient satisfaction and high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Internet and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and customer service.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with doctors, staff and the public.
• Flexible schedule and ability to multitask.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Professional appearance and attitude.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR.
• Request medical records and verify patient information.
• Take and record patient vitals.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain supplies.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and professional standards.
• Assist with instructions to patients and relay provider orders.
• Ensure proper handling of specimens, injections, and lab records.
• Back-up Ancillary Medical Assistant duties as needed.
