Farragut Family Practice, a division of Summit Medical Group, is seeking a Multi-Duty Receptionist for our on-site Knoxville, TN location. This full-time front desk role supports patient intake, scheduling, and administrative tasks with a patient-first approach.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced medical office setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls professionally and assist callers.
• Greet patients and visitors courteously.
• Check-in patients, verify demographics, and collect copays.
• Assist patients with ambulatory needs and provide service.
• Schedule appointments, manage referrals and pre-certifications.
• File charts, coordinate lab work, and deliver mail/records.
• Maintain neat work area and confidentiality.
• Attend meetings and participate in quality improvement.
• Support team and communicate with supervisor about time off.
• Adhere to compliance and company policies.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
