Responsibilities

• Gather accurate insurance and demographic information from patients.
• Explain kiosk registration or portal registration processes to patients.
• Collect patient and insurance payments and balance cash daily.
• Obtain referrals and authorizations for office services as needed.
• Verify insurance benefits and document charts according to policy.
• Inform patients about unpaid balances and collect copays at the time of service.
• Scan records into patient charts and maintain proper chart order.
• Protect patient privacy following company policies.
• Keep the front office clean and organized; order supplies as needed.
• Cover other front office positions during absences.
• Perform other related duties as directed.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and maintain courteous communication.
• Stay updated on company news via emails and announcements.
