Job summary

Endeavor Health in Northbrook, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant to join our full-time team. The role supports front desk operations, patient check-in/out, insurance verification and basic clinical tasks in a busy physician practice.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, with benefits for full-time staff. Experience in a medical office and CPR certification are required, MA certification preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association is required; Medical Assistant Certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones.
• Schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments.
• Complete patient registration.
• Provide front office support to the physician practice.
• Check in and check out patients.
• Verify insurances.
• Greet patients and escort to exam room.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit.
• Perform basic vitals (BP, height, weight).
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
