Highpoint Health - Winchester with Ascension Saint Thomas is seeking a Receptionist to serve multiple clinics across Winchester and surrounding Tennessee locations. You will be the welcoming first point of contact for patients, manage check-ins/outs, scheduling, and front-office workflows while upholding confidentiality and high service standards.

The role involves insurance verification, payments, registrations, referrals, EMR documentation, and coordinating with providers across clinics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors; check-in/check-out with accurate data.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate based on availability.
• Answer phone calls, route messages, and respond to inquiries.
• Verify insurance and assist with registrations as needed.
• Collect copays/payments and document transactions.
• Assist with referrals, medical records, and admin tasks.
• Maintain accurate patient information in EMR systems.
• Prepare, scan, fax, copy, file and distribute documents.
• Provide front-office coverage across multiple practices.
• Maintain organized front-office and monitor supplies.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
