Job summary

Upperline Health in Myrtle Beach is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support physicians in delivering care. You will serve as the front desk receptionist, greet patients, check them in, and prepare them for appointments in a timely manner.

You will schedule appointments, maintain on-time calendars, file patient records in the EMR (Athenahealth preferred), collect payments, and protect patient privacy. Strong communication and team collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience as a front-office receptionist or assisting in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Front desk duties: greet patients, answer calls, obtain patient information, keep entrance organized.
• Assist patients with scheduling appointments.
• Maintain on-time schedules by notifying physicians of arrivals.
• Retrieve and file patient records; scan documents into EMR.
• Collect payments and manage office supplies.
