Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Experience in patient advocacy, customer service, or healthcare accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily rounds on patients to assess concerns, needs, and overall satisfaction.
• Serve as liaison between patients and clinical teams to address concerns and enhance care experiences.
• Advocate for patient rights and ensure timely follow-up on concerns or requests.
• Manage patient funds held in a local bank account for approximately 60 patients.
• Post receipts, disbursements, and maintain ledgers and reporting for patient funds.
• Provide financial reports to families, patients, Social Workers, and other parties as necessary.
• Operate the Patient Canteen, manage inventory, and reconcile transactions with patient accounts.
• Assist in closing accounts of deceased patients and provide documentation for investigations.
