AEG Vision in Texas is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our front desk team. You will coordinate patient flow, manage schedules, and ensure a seamless experience across the care team. Your role blends customer service with administrative duties to support efficient clinic operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and communicates clearly with patients and colleagues. Experience with EMR and basic computer skills are essential, and a patient-centered approach helps

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn practice management systems (EMR).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a patient focus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across teams.
• Ability to proactively identify issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain patient and practice confidentiality.

Mansioni

• Greet patients, customers, and vendors; primary contact for patient interactions.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and manage email or digital communications.
• Schedule patient appointments and support provider schedule optimization.
• Execute appointment confirmations and reminders to reduce no-shows.
• Verify insurance eligibility and patient demographics in EMR.
• Maintain patient charts and required documentation in advance of visits.
• Collect and document charges, co-pays, and payments in EMR.
• Run reports and review accounts to ensure charges are billed and up to date.
• Monitor daily patient flow and adjust schedules to support efficiency.
• Proactively communicate wait times and next steps to patients.
• Coordinate with clinical teams for smooth transitions during visits.
• Support retention efforts through recall and follow-up for annual visits.
