Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification.
• Manage referrals and obtain prior authorization for PT services.
• Review and update medical records per HIPAA.
• Collect co-pays and discuss account balances.
• Communicate with MDs, DNP, PA, DPTs, and trainers for a smooth patient experience.
• Answer multi-line phone system with professional etiquette.
• Maintain filing of medical records and support compliance.
• Collaborate to improve office workflows for medical admin tasks.
